Tours Day 01:
AMAZON PERU NATURE – IQUITOS NAUTA
Today 8.00 AM . We will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to the city of Nauta by paved road in a private car. We will see small local villages along the way consisting of farmers nearby the hard road.
The trip will last for approximately one hour and forty five minutes. We will visit the old city of Nauta and walk the streets where we can see the rustic houses built with mud. These are the oldest houses in the city.From there we will take the boat down the Marañon river to the Piranha Explorer Lodge near the lagoon and have a welcome drink of natural fresh typical fruits of the Amazon Peru Nature
There, we will assign you a private room and provide you with information of our program. Then we will take a canoe ride to the “Anaconda Cocha” lake.Next we will have a lunch of typical jungle food, and go for a walk in the primary jungle where we will learn of plants in the area. We will discuss trees such as the Capirona, Capinuri, Chonta, Cercropias, Mohena and the biggest tree Lupuna or Ceiba Pethandra.
You will appreciate the many different types of bird species and local wildlife in this area like McCaws, Parrots, Wld Ducks, Horned Screamer, Amazon Peru Nature Kingfisher ect.Then we will return to the lodge for dinner and a brief explanation of the night excursion by canoe. Finally we are off to see the Caymans and other nocturnal species. Return from the night excursion for a night in the peaceful Amazon Peru Nature lodge.
Tours Day 02:
LODGE RAINFOREST – PERU NATURE AMAZON
We will go for an early walk in the jungle to see Monkeys and Squirrels in their natural habitat and return for breakfast. After breakfast we will go on a motorboat excursion to the Marañon and Ucayali Rivers where the Amazon River is born.From there we will travel to the blackwater of the Yarapa River tributary of the Amazon River for more viewing of the legendary Amazon Peru Nature Pink Dolphin.
Lunch will be provided aboard the boat, next we will visit the village of “Castilla” to learn about the daily life of these indigenous people.From there, we will visit the farmers plantations, the villagers are “Mestizos Indians” and originate from the Jivaro tribes who are dedicated to make handicrafts that could be bought or traded with objects that tourists bring with them.
After, we will observe the sunset on the Amazon Peru Nature River and return to the lodge for dinner.The guide will tell you when dinner will be prepared and what you will be eating. We will take a night walk in the jungle to learn about the nocturnal insects of the jungle like the Batracios and other nocturnal species. You will spend the night in the Amazon Peru Nature lodge.
Tours Day 03:
AMAZON PERU NATURE – CAMPING CENTER
Very early we will take a canoe ride to the lagoon of “Anaconda Cocha” and observe many various species of birds in their natural habitat. Next, we will return to the lodge for breakfast.
After breakfast, you can spend time fishing for Piranha or other species of fish like Catfish, Tucanare, Bujurquis, Acarahuiasu, and Sardines in the lagoon closer to the lodge.The fish will be caught with typical fishing poles used by the native people. After fishing, we will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch we will walk through the jungle, There we will camp in the jungle using mosquito nets closer to the shores of the lagoon.
Nocturnal fishing with typical fishing equipment used by the indeginious people. The, another night time nature walk and follow the guides indications of local jungle survival. Then return to camp for dinner and spend one night camping in the Amazon Peru Nature
Tours Day 04 :
AMAZON LODGE RAINFOREST – WILDLIFE PERU NATURE
Breakfast early and an explanation about survival in the jungle using our skills and knowledge of the jungle. Our guides will explain to you about the local medicinal plants and the preparation and use of these herbs. We will return to the lodge for lunch and take a canoe ride in the lagoon. You will spend the afternoon relaxing near the lagoon and observing the enormous Lilly pads nearby. Next we will have dinner and stay that night in the lodge. You will spend a relaxing evening in the Amazon Peru Nature lodge discussing what you have learned.
Tours Day 5 :
AMAZON PERU NATURE TO IQUITOS AIRPORT
Breakfast, and then a walk to visit the nearby “Cayman Lake” and observe the different species of animals. There you will see the high jungle. Next we will return to the lodge for lunch, just in time to return to the city of Nauta. From there we will return to the city of Iquitos by car and transfer to a hotel or airport. Iquitos achieved a short period of success during the “rubber fever” towards the end of the XIX century. Proof of this can be seen in the opulent houses and mansions with ornate facades decorated with Portuguese mosaics. The Peru Nature Amazon River Basin occupies the entire central and eastern area of South America, lying to the east of the Andes mountain range and extending from the Guyana Plateau in the north to the Brazilian Plateau in the south. The Peru Nature Basin covers more than 6,100,000 km2, or 44% of the land area of the South American continent, extending into Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela.
The Basin has widely varying climatic and topographic characteristics, with elevations ranging from sea level at the River’s mouth, to an altitude of the Peru Nature 6,500 m in the Andes. The Amazon Peru Nature River, which runs for approximately 7,100 km from its source in Peru Nature to the Atlantic Coast of Brazil, is the world’s longest, widest, and deepest river.
