These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you and www.sandovallake.com doing business as Sandoval Lake – Travel and Tourism Agency. When booking a trip, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions that describe, among other things, cancellation policy and certain limitations of liability. These Terms and Conditions affect your rights and designate the applicable law and forum for the resolution of any dispute.
All persons wishing to make a reservation must be read carefully and understand the terms and conditions below. When booking by phone, www.manujungletrips.com on the website, by email (email@example.com) or fax to the Company or its agents agree on behalf of yourself and all those named on the reserve, including minors and disabled persons who They have understood these Terms and Conditions. A booking is accepted and becomes definite only from the date on which the company sends a receipt or email confirmation of your tour. Manu Jungle Trips operates in regions where standards of accommodation, transport and services might not be normally you would expect. However we strive, with all the diligence and ability to provide the best services for our tourists. Travelling the Peru requires flexibility, patience, generosity of spirit, good humor and understanding the changes that can be worn without notice due to circumstances beyond our control (Force Majeure – see below). When booking any of our tours you agree to Manu Jungle Trip Travel Agency make the necessary changes without liability.
Any situation or event that Manu Jungle Trips Travel Agency can not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Events such as war or threat, riot, civil disturbance, terrorist activity, labor disputes, diseases, disasters or adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control. In this case, Manu Jungle Trips Travel Agency is not responsible and reserves the right to modify, postpone or even cancel the trip (this is the last option, of course!)
TRAVEL INSURANCE TO AMAZON – MANU NATIONAL PARK – LODGE MANU PARK
We recommend you get a travel insurance that covers accidents, medical expenses and emergency repatriation, including rescue and air ambulance. We also recommend that it covers cancellations and lost luggage. Please forward a copy / policy number to our offices.

RISKS IN THE TRIP:
When booking any of our adventure trips to the jungle of Peru (Manu National Park, Lodge Manu Park, Sandoval Lake Lodge, Amazon Peru, Peru Trips News Sandoval Lake Lodge, Amazon Life, Tambopata Amazon Jungle Expeditions Tambopata Macaw Clay Lick Tambopata Rainforest Tours, Amazon Expeditions Expedition Book Tambopata, Peru Tambopata Nature, etc Inca Trail to Machu Picchu trek Machu Picchu Salkantay, Ausangate trek, trekking Choquequirao, Lares trek etc.) you assume the risks associated with them. For these Sandoval Lake Travel Agency can not be held responsible.
SENDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA BOOKING
Your passport should be valid, please let us know if you have or will change your passport after booking the trip (Inca Trail authorities are not very pleasant to passport control in controlling the Km 82). ISIC card (if applicable) must also be valid at the time of starting their Inca trail, Sandoval Lake Lodge, Manu National Park, Tambopata reserve, Manu blanquillo, etc.
MAKE A RESERVATION
To secure a booking of a tour package, you must make a payment of 50% of the total cost of the package is per person deposit (non-refundable); the balance will be paid upon arrival in Lima, Cusco and Puerto Maldonado office.
All transaction fees are covered by the client and is not included in our prices.

The amount or Total balance will be paid upon arrival in Lima, Cusco and Puerto Maldonado (Only cash or via internet banking are taken)
PAYMENT OF FINAL BALANCE
It requires you to pay your final balance in our offices at least 48 hours before travel, cash only is accepted soles.
We reserve the right to cancel his trip to not make payment within this time, or if you do not ah advised of a delayed arrival, etc.
(An exchange rate used 1 US = 3.10 soles per day depending on the dollar value).
If for some reason the exchange rate Dollar falls (as it did in 2009 and 2010) we will be flexible and accept up to 10 points difference fall but we will not be able to accept and share the Peruvian sol at a lower rate 3 for 1 US dollar, this is to ensure the quality of our services to you and the treatment of our porters.

- Deposit sent to the reservation is not refundable or transferable.
- MANU JUNGLE TRIPS Travel Agency must be notified of any changes or cancellations of your trip as soon as they become aware of them, via e-mail or fax.
- the final balance once it has been paid (in cash): We will not be able to return your trip payment for cancellations. However, you will get part of your trip that you will be able to use in (Machu Picchu as the right of entry, a train ticket, a tourist bus).
- A letter to claim your insurance company can also be provided by us upon your request.
MODIFICATIONS OF SERVICES:
Modifications can be made up to 7 days before the original travel date, they must be requested by the user who made the reservation. through email@example.com to help you.
In the case of a modification that cannot be made due to lack of availability or a similar reason, a refund will be made if applicable (see next point).
The user who made the purchase will be the only one authorized to request cancellation or modification and the only one who will receive the refund. The amount reimbursed does not include additional payments for taxes and / or commissions of bank agents or international transfer agents.
The time of the return will depend on whether it is personal or online, which can take between 3 to 10 business days, being able to use different means of international and national transfer.

VERY IMPORTANT (1): We suggest you stay at an altitude (above 3000 meters – as in Cusco or another high altitude city) for 3 days (minimum) before starting the journey. This is in order to minimize the effects of altitude sickness. Also, you can help your body acclimatize by drinking plenty of fluids, adding a bit more sugar to your drinks, eating foods rich in carbohydrates, avoiding cigarettes and alcohol and consume coca leaf tea (the traditional leaf Inka). Diamox can also be helpful to ask your doctor for prescription.
VERY IMPORTANT (2): It is also highly recommended to get to Lima or Cusco (depending where you start your tour with us) at least about 48 hours before travel, there are often cases of strikes or other events beyond our control requiring us to start our tour ahead of schedule (see above Force Majeure).
