Itinerary Amazon Travellers Trip 5 days/4 night
Day 1 : Cusco Cloud Forest to Pilcopata
We depart Cusco early in the morning, between 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m., with our private transport to start Amazon Travellers Trip. We head south through Huancarani, where we make our first stop for breakfast. Next, we visit
Ninamarka to see pre-Inca “chullpas” tombs. Continuing, we reach the colonial town of Paucartambo with its narrow streets and beautiful church.
Afterward, we proceed to Acjanaco Pass (3,550 m), the gateway to Manu National Park.
During the journey, we experience various ecological levels and encounter diverse flora and fauna, including cock of the rock, hummingbirds, quetzals, trogons, monkey capuchin, and woolly monkey.
The flora includes orchids, mosses, and ferns. Finally, we arrive at our eco lodge, isolated in Pilco at 700 meters above sea level.

Day 2 : Pilcopta to Palotoa Community Shintuya and Hot Spring Amazon Travellers Trip
After breakfast, we proceed with our private transport and pass through the town of Pilcopata. During the journey, we visit an animal shelter, where we have the opportunity to interact with jungle animals.
Later, we head to a viewpoint to admire the lush woods and diverse flora and fauna. Continuing our adventure, we reach the port of Atalaya (500 meters) and board a motor boat for a journey along the Madre de Dios River. Along the riverbank, we can observe various bird species, caimans, turtles, ronsocos, and the typical flora and fauna of the region. After a lunch break at around 12:30, we have a chance to bathe in the river.
Our nextdestination is the community of Palotoa, where we can explore the town and witness their daily activities. We then continue our trip to visit the community of Shintuya, where we will rest after dinner. An optional night walk in the Amazonia is available for those interested. Manu trip Peru.
Day 3: Rainforest Trips to Native Communiti Shintuya – Amazon Travellers Trip.
As soon as in the morning at 5:00 am, we’ll embark on a boat trip to witness the mesmerizing parrot clay lick activity. Parrots and macaws gather to consume clay rich in salt minerals, sodium, and potassium—an unforgettable experience. Afterward, we return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast. Following breakfast, we set out to explore the
jungle trail, where we’ll encounter tall trees, medicinal plants, palm trees, ayahuasca trees, strangler trees, and various wildlife like monkeys, insects, birds, ronsoco, and capybara—a beautiful and enriching experience.
After returning to the lodge, we’ll have lunch and then take a refreshing bath in the warm waters of the river to cool off from the heat. In the evening, we can relax in the lodge’s warm waters, offering a peaceful experience. Day 4 :Rainforest Lodge to Parrot Clay Lick and Machuwasi Lake .Amazon Travellers Trip
We rise early to the melodious sound of birdsong and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Afterward, we set sail upriver on our boat to reach the enchanting Machu Huasi lake. Walking on wooden rafts amidst the stunning flora and fauna of the
lake is an unforgettable experience, immersing us in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Returning to our lodge, we settle in and indulge in a delicious lunch, followed by a relaxing nap. In the afternoon, we venture into the jungle, exploring different levels of the terrain, discovering new paths, and encountering various bird and plant
species typical of the area. As the day winds down, we relish a delightful dinner. To add to the excitement of the night, we embark on a thrilling night walk, unveiling the mysteries of nocturnal life in the Amazon. An adventure-filled day awaits in the heart of the rainforest.
Day 5: Rainforest Lodge to Atalya Port and Back Cusco City.
We embark on our return journey, re-boarding our boat for a scenic ride back. Our first stop is at Atalaya Port, where our private vehicle awaits us. We’ll be back in Cusco between 7 and 7:30 pm, with cherished memories of an unforgettable Amazonian adventure.
