ABOUT LODGE:
Frequently asked questions (FAQs):
Amazon Ayahuasca
Each plant has a world, and that’s how they heal. Without this, they wouldn’t heal. Each plant also has its own “Ícaro” (a healing song). Through the hallucination, I see which plant is good for each illness. Each plant has a mother, like Cathua, Ayauma, Lupuna, Wayracaspi, Shihuahuaco. They all have a mother, and they take us to their world to teach us.
I can tell my story about ayahuasca.
The first time I took ayahuasca, I was very young. I wanted to drink it. I never slept when my father drank it; I was always with him. He had a pipe that he smoked. I was 9 years old when one night, my father went to urinate, and that’s when I drank the bottle. So when I started to hallucinate, I told my father, “I see this.” He asked me, “Did you drink it?” I said, “Yes, Papa,” and he asked me if I thought I could handle it
