Day 1: Begin your adventure with an 11-hour journey from Cusco.
Ascend to Pituhuaylla Pass with stunning views, pass through a tropical rainforest, and descend into the cloud forest with lush vegetation. Spend the night in the village of Mazuco.
Day 2: After breakfast, sail across the Inambari River,
and explore the rainforest’s rocky shores with the opportunity to spot various monkey species, herons, and more. Reach Maquisapayoq Lodge and consider a night walk to observe Amazon rainforest creatures.
Day 3: Embark on an early morning expedition to the famous macaw clay-lick of Blanquillo.
Witness vibrant flocks of macaws and parrots. Explore the surrounding areas for diverse animal species. Later, visit Camungo Lake to observe giant river otters and birds, including a climb up a 42-meter high observation tower. Experience a night adventure, observing tapirs and other mammals.
Day 4: Prepare for the return journey, departing early. Boat down the Madre de Dios River and transfer to Cusco, arriving in the evening.
