Itinerary
Day 1: Journey to the Cloud Forest – Albergue Paraíso
Your adventure begins with an early departure from Cusco in private transport. The journey takes you to Ninamarca, where the pre-Incan chullpas (tombs) of the Lupaca culture stand as timeless monuments.
The route continues to Paucartambo, a charming colonial town preserving its traditions. From there, ascend to Acjanaco Pass (3550 masl) to witness one of the world’s most breathtaking sunrises from the Tres Cruces de Oro viewpoint (3700 masl).

After breakfast, continue by transport to Puerto Atalaya (500 masl) and board a motorized canoe to navigate the Madre de Dios River. Along the way, watch wildlife such as sunbathing lizards, birds, and turtles.
Arriving at your lodge, settle into the comfortable accommodations before exploring the Amazon rainforest. Encounter diverse species, including tarantulas, butterflies, monkeys, and vibrant plants.
