Amazon Life 4 days

¿WHAT WE EXPECT?

Amazon Life 4 days

Due to its remote location, large parts of Tambopata remained untouched for many years. This isolation allowed ecosystems to thrive and led conservationists to recognize the region’s vital role as a biological corridor linking Manu National Park with the Amazon rainforests of Bolivia. Today, it stands as one of the most important conservation areas in South America.

Amazon Life 4 days

Tambopata is home to remarkably healthy populations of iconic Amazon wildlife, including tapirs, jaguars and other wild cats, giant otters, and the majestic harpy eagle. The region is also famous for its vibrant birdlife, especially the diverse species of macaws that gather in large numbers—an unforgettable sight for visitors.

Many of these species have declined or disappeared in other parts of the Amazon, making Tambopata a critical refuge for conservation and ecological research.

For travelers seeking an immersive rainforest experience, Tambopata offers not only exceptional wildlife viewing but also access to pristine habitats that showcase the richness of the Amazon like few other places on Earth.
