Day 2: Enter The Best Manu Reserved – Matsiguenka House Lodge .

Navigate along the Manu River into the heart of the Reserved Zone. Visit a parrot and macaw clay lick where species such as the Chestnut-fronted and Blue-headed Macaws gather.

Continue downstream through areas rich with birds, capybaras, caimans, monkeys, and—if lucky—jaguars.
Arrive at Matsiguenka House Lodge, managed by the Matsiguenka Indigenous community. Overnight in double rooms with shared bathrooms.

Day 3: The Best Manu Reserved and Cocha Salvador & Cocha Otorongo Exploration .

Board a catamaran to explore Cocha Salvador, home to giant river otters, herons, egrets, skimmers, and Bald-Faced Capuchin and Monk Saki monkeys.

In the afternoon, hike through ancient primary rainforest and visit Cocha Otorongo, featuring a 20-meter observation tower overlooking the lake.

Day 4:The Best Manu Reserved – Manu River – Boca Manu – Tapir Clay Lick .

Travel by boat along the Manu River, spotting more wildlife along the banks. Visit Boca Manu, then ascend the Madre de Dios River back to Cabaña Dorado.

Hike to the Tapir Clay Lick, where tapirs, deer, and monkeys often gather.

Day 5:The Best Manu Reserved – Macaw Clay Lick – Return to Cusco
