The extreme topography of Manu Park creates multiple microclimates and has different ecological floors.
For this reason, it has areas of lower elevation that become the warmest with average temperatures ranging from 35 C during the day, during the night the temperature has an average of 25C.
These are the higher elevation areas of the Manu National Park, during the day the temperatures are cooler.
In rainy seasons temperatures drop to 10 C (50 F). which is another meteorological phenomenon, called “or” friaje “, occurs when the polar winds of Patagonia sweep the mountains and the tropical forest. Temperatures can be as low as 8 C .
