Today, we enter the famous Reserved Zone of Manu National Park. We’ll navigate the enigmatic Manu River,
offering you the opportunity to witness extraordinary wildlife in this pristine environment. In the morning, we might
visit a clay lick where parrots and macaws enjoy their daily clay feast. Keep your camera ready to capture the
smaller macaws like the Chestnut-fronted Macaw and the rare Blue-headed Macaw. Then, we’ll navigate downstream along the Madre de Dios River, surrounded by rich biodiversity, including birds, capybaras, monkeys,
caimans, and, if we’re lucky, even the majestic jaguar- Our day culminates at Matshiguenka House Lodge, part of the legendary Matshiguenka culture, where you’ll spend the night in double rooms with shared bathrooms.

Día 3: Peru Rainforest Manu Reserved Cocha Salvador and Cocha Otorongo .
Today, we’ll set sail on a catamaran to explore the famous Cocha Salvador Lake, home to giant otters and an abundance of nesting birds. Keep your binoculars ready for herons, egrets, caimans, terns, skimmers, and the
captivating Bald-faced Capuchin and Monk Saki monkeys. In the afternoon, we’ll venture into the primary Amazon rainforest,
where you’ll experience the unique sensation of being in an ecosystem that has remained unchanged for centuries.
We’ll also visit Cocha Otorongo, with its 20-meter observation tower in the forest canopy, offering a stunning view of the lake and its wildlife Manu Park .

Our day begins early as we embark on a boat journey along the Manu River. Along the riverbanks, you’ll have more opportunities to spot monkeys, caimans, birds, capybaras, and other wildlife. We’ll make a brief stop in the village of
Boca Manu, the main settlement in Manu, followed by a two-hour boat trip upstream along the Madre de Dios
River to Cabaña Dorado. Upon arrival, we’ll take a walk to the mammal clay lick, where we’ll observe tapirs, deer monkeys, and other visitors to the lick. Later in the evening, we’ll venture on a night walk in the forest to observe
fascinating creatures like frogs, insects, and snakes. You’ll have the option to spend the night on the clay lick

After a delicious breakfast, we’ll embark on a journey of approximately 10 hours back to Cusco, taking the new Manu communal integration road. Along the way, we’ll make stops to continue our wildlife observations and
gradually ascend to the cloud forest. Our adventure concludes with a delicious lunch in the cloud forest, and we’ll return to Cusco, arriving around 5 or 6 pm.
